This course exposes students with accurate and up-to-dateinformation regarding physical activity as it relates to health. It is intendedto enhance students’ ability to identify important issues pertinent to physicalactivity and health, as well as develop and maintain a physically activelifestyle.

高赞教授简介：美国美国明尼苏达大学终身任职教授，运动流行病学实验室主任，博士生导师。目前他的主要研究兴趣集中于通过运动干预促进人体健康，运用高科技产品来促进各个人群的体育活动水平和健康，以及运动技能﹑身体体质﹑认知功能和体育活动水平的测量评价。迄今为止，他已在各种国际学术会议做过200多场学术报告，并在各种国际学术刊物发表122篇SCI/SSCI期刊论文和专著章节。目前高赞博士担任国际行为营养和体育活动杂志(InternationalJournal of Behavioral Nutrition and Physical Activity)﹑临床医学杂志(Journal of Clinical Medicine)﹑运动健康科学杂志(Journal of Sport and HealthScience)和健康游戏杂志(Gamesfor Health Journal)的编委会成员，并为30多种专业期刊审稿。他负责和参与了超过六百多万美元的多项大型科研课题，包括担任2项美国联邦卫生署研究基金的首席科学家。高赞博士现为美国运动医学院理事（AmericanCollege of Sports Medicine Fellow），美国体育健康协会研究所理事（SHAPEAmerica Fellow）。
